By the way I think I figured out what is happening on the alternate timeline.
The smoke monster is giving them their heart desires, what they always wanted, as long as they stay off the island, but I think one of them in the end is going to refuse and go back to the island

i kind of see that the same thing is happening in the island and in the alternate timeline... take sayid in this last episode... he went back to the dark side on both timelines...

Claire wants her child back. Alternate timeline, something happens and she gets to KEEP HIM
Sayid wants Nadia again. And his brother is now dying at the hospital as he saves her, and he has at least a chance at her and she is ALIVE.
Toga wants his child alive and with him. And in this alternate timeline, he is there with his son.
Locke told Matthew Abandone that he really wanted Hellen (Season 5), and he wanted a different life, and now he is with her and not working for the bastard he worked before.
Jack does not want to be like his father, and now he is not.
Claire wanted to be free. And guess what? She is.
Hurley did not want to be a magnet of bad luck. Now he is the luckiest guy in the world/

he is jack. Jack is the one who is starting to see that there a missing pieces about his life in this alternate reality.

And what about last night's episode? My jaw dropped, only four more episodes until the finale. I watched the preview for the episode, it was just CRRRRRAZY!!!

By saying 'my jaw dropped' are you insinuating that it only dropped once? Because mine dropped a few times. It has gotten to the point where I am not even looking for answers any more. I am just happy to see what rollercoaster ride we are going to go on next and what Easter eggs are going to be found in this episode. Like Desmond's order being number....wait for it....42!

I can't venture a guess as to how this whole thing is going to end. At first I was thinking "Jack and Sawyer are going to be the new Jacob and Man in Black". Then I thought, "Perhaps Hurley is the new Jacob or maybe he will take Richard's place." Now I don't even try because I know I won't figure it out.
