because CM, Mattek and I were a mason group.
I believe that when you have a problem, you talk it over with your priest, or your tailor, or the mute elevator porter at your men's club, and you take that problem and crush it with your mind vice. But for lesser beings like curly-haired men and people who need glasses, therapy can help.

Good game, West. Though, I'm curious... How was Tony part of the mason group? Wouldn't he have killed the recruiter? Or did you just have a set mason group with no recruiting?

According to the narrative I think that's what happened. Zeus, Poseidon and Ares were together drinking wine at mount Olympus when Athena rushed in.

yeah we started off that way.

Wow, I actually really like the concept of a set mason group with a traitor in the midst. That's interesting.

That was a great game West. And it will go down in the books as the first one I ever survived until the end. I'm surprised, though, that nobody figured out that WiT wasn't Poseidon. It was even said in the narrative earlier in the game.

I tried to put a lot of subtle clues in the narratives as to what was going on, such as WiT not being Poseidon and Ares being the traitor.

I think my main mistake was that in trying to not make the scum too powerful, I made them too weak. A fourth member would've helped them. Another thing was a poor show the first night, which is which cv and Gambit were found out very quick.

It was a fun experience, and I owe it all to you guys.

Pointers for future games are welcome, both on this thread or PM.

The only advice I can provide is to not give too much away in the Narrative. It's not your job, as mod, to help people figure out who is who. You're only there to tell a story.

Now, this doesn't mean you should just hide all clues. That's not what I'm saying. For example, if you choose to detail blocking in your narrative, then you need to be sure to do it every night, revealing who got blocked, because the players can use this to put stuff together.

But, you should never, ever drop clues to reveal who is who and secret aspects of a players role. That's not really fair to that player.

What CV said.  I have all but stopped including who got blocked in narratives because it is too obvious that a player probably was scum (i.e., they got blocked and no kill took place).  It's too easy for people to figure it out.

If you want to do it, I'd leave it anonymous.  For instance "a figure darted when he saw that Poseidon's waves hit him full on" or something like that.

hmm a role that forces actions into the narrative might be cool.

Yea I wasn't a very good traitor. Good game though guys.

I'll puke, eat it and freak you. Battle? I'm too weeded to speak to. The only key I see to defeat you would be for me to remove these two Adidas and beat you. Force feed you them both and on each feet is a cleet shoe.
