To put it in terms we can all understand. Imagine North Korea is the Death Star. They'd attack us, and a bunch of people would die. But, then, we'd retaliate with a single farmboy from a desert planet and blow them into oblivion. And then said farmboy would kiss his sister, causing us all to cringe.
