What's the last movie you watched?
« on: April 02, 2010, 09:28:58 PM »
Tell us about the last movie you saw and give a one - liner about why we should see it or not (a quasi-review, if you will). Feel free to include a 0 - 5 star rating.

Right now, I'm watching Star Wars back-to-back. I've been meaning to do it for a while...

I now appreciate eps 1-3 on a whole 'nother level.

4/5 (the whole thing)

Yeah, it's got some pretty slow moments. But, overall, one of the best films of all time.

Step Brothers

LOL

I'll puke, eat it and freak you. Battle? I'm too weeded to speak to. The only key I see to defeat you would be for me to remove these two Adidas and beat you. Force feed you them both and on each feet is a cleet shoe.

BtG, I love your take on movies.

Thanks very much, Sorry I can't be around much anymore, busy at work but I will always pop in!

Dead Girl-Rather disturbing horror/coming of age story about two loser high school friends that hang out in abandon insane asylum and find a women chained in the basement who maybe a zombie/monster. I mean one of these geniuses decides to shoot it three times and strangle it and it doesn't die so I'm guessing its a abomination. So like any lonely high school kid with throbbing hormones that finds a strapped down creature that can't be killed, they decide to "Dip  the Mozzarella Stick in the Marinara sauce". You can see where this is going friends start to be come enemies, obsessions with dead girls and trying  to dodge getting beat up by jocks. 4/5

Black Dynamite- A blaxploitation film done now about Black Dynamite brother being killed and him seeking revenge. This has everything Kung Fu, Black Panthers, Pimps and a fight between Black Dynamite and Richard Nixon. This movie not only pays homage to the 1970s of said film genre but its tongue-in-cheek style will have you rolling on the ground. 4.5/5

2046 - Hong Kong film by Wong-Kar Wai with elements of romance, noir, and sci-fi. Haunting, brilliant, and fucking glowing. - 4.5/5
