What? I need to do the lookout? But, it's not July yet. Is it? Ah, damn. I forgot. Alright, lookout, lookout, lookout. Gotta do a lookout. Sorry it's late this month, guys. I'm still a bit frazzled from my trip, and I've really lost all concept of time. At any rate, we still got some great things to check out this month, so you don't want to miss it.
Up first, Phil's got a new
Bad Touch today. Have you read it yet? You haven't? Well, what are you doing reading this shit? Go read that. It's WAY better.
Ben returns this month with some
In Case You Missed It. He plans on keeping you up to date with everything you should be reading. And if he misses it, I can guarantee that Gabe's comic reviews will fill in the blanks.
Keith G. and I will continue to rock your face off with
The Retro Rad Review every other Monday. Also, I've got the
Musical Extravaganza at the end of the month. And Keith has got the
52 Pickup and
Celluloid Dreams. So, good times on that.
Our
Please Rewind Reviews theme this month is classic black and white dramas. Right now, we've got two on the list, but I'm sure we'll probably have more pop up. So, be sure to check out the schedule below, as the month moves on.
I don't know if you know this, but J. Byrd retooled his column.
Byrd's Brain is now about all things manly, and we love it because of that. Now, we aren't talking about Maxim's definition of manly, or Spike TV's. We're talking real men. Cigar-chomping, John Wayne-loving, muscle car-driving, red-blooded men! It's hilarious and poignant, and you'd be a fool to skip it.
If you read Jason's
I Can See Castle Doom From My House last month, you don't need me to tell you how awesome it is. You should just know. But, if you didn't, I can't help you. Alright, I can. It's incredibly awesome. He's got another one on the 27th, so keep an eye out for that. I'm sure he'll bring the amazing this month, as well.
Jimmy Wahl got off to a rough start last month, because of some personal problems. And we won't hold that against him. Because, when he does post, we know it will blow us all away. We've got some
Warning: Contains Thoughts scheduled this month. So, that'll rock. Plus, he's going to debut his new musical column,
Kit Shickers this month.
Click Here for Comics is coming back in July, which should make everyone happy. Erica is dedicated to making sure you know what Webcomic you should be reading. So, pay attention. Because, class will be in session on July 13th.
Lastly, I'm pulling review triple time this month with two movie reviews (
Predators and
Inception) and a book review
The Passage. Some other stuff might pop up throughout the month, though, so keep that in mind. You know where to find the schedule, right? It's right below THIS!
