Shame on you Matt. After all the batman streets of Gotham reviews I wrote where I talked about him explained a lot about the villain his modus operandi and motivations, you say who?
On a serious note I agree with Tony he is batman's scariest villain. A serial killer like him on the loose with the police turned against batman will make for an interesting plot.
Yet I think that one or two out of black mask, the ventriloquist or the riddler will be the main villain

I probably read about him. His name just isn't something I see myself remembering too well. It's like a typo I just skim by.

I'll puke, eat it and freak you. Battle? I'm too weeded to speak to. The only key I see to defeat you would be for me to remove these two Adidas and beat you. Force feed you them both and on each feet is a cleet shoe.

I think Nolan could pull of a scary Riddler as well. Those who only watch, but don't read Batman will no doubt think of the corny Jim Carrey incarnation in Batman & Robin. I think a change in perception would be great. Still, as you guys have said, Zsasz would be scary as hell, with maybe Catwoman. Penguin would NOT be feasible in Nolan's world.

Carrey was in Batman Forever Batman & Robin was the other turd; where Ahnold says "Chill out!"

Only the first movie in 1989 somewhat captured the essence of the comics...the reboot was desperately needed.

When the Dark Knight first came out.. Michael Caine mentioned in an interview that he asked one of the producers how could they ever too Heath as the Joker??

and the Producer quickly replies: "How about Johnny Depp as the Riddler and Phillip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin!???"

WOW!!!!

Now this is even before Nolan signed up for the third part... no script.. no nothing...

so who knows who the villains will really be??

but a Hoffman Penguin would definetely fit into Nolan's Batman...

I am with docdoom. Penguin could fit nolan's world if he is portrayed by someone like philip seymour hoffman and nolan goes for the gangster behind the scenes approach rather than the gimmick umbrella guy

Robin Williams?

It's Tom Hardy. Isn't it?
