Congresses consider gambling on .....Gambling

Torn here.  Its were my thoughts turn toward paternalism.
I believe that when you have a problem, you talk it over with your priest, or your tailor, or the mute elevator porter at your men's club, and you take that problem and crush it with your mind vice. But for lesser beings like curly-haired men and people who need glasses, therapy can help.

Maybe if Congress cut down on some "Entitlements" and Foreign Aid we could afford to pay our bills without adding new taxes on something that's already been made illegal.

Foriegn aid reduces terrorism and war. which are expensive.  As for entitlements, depends on what you mean.

I would not cut healthcare, but I would cut out some benefits that dont make sense like the Social security cap.
