USH Mafia #33 : Infiltration

Opening

“Action station! Action stations! Set condition 1 throughout the ship. This is not a drill. I repeat. Action stations! Action stations! Set condition 1 throughout the ship.” The Admiral screamed into the com. “Colonel, Report.”

“9 Cylon raiders and an unknown ship inbound. Contact in 9 minutes.” The colonel replied as he stared up at the screens in the CIC.

“Have the fleet spin up their FTL drives and jump to emergency coordinates. Launch alert Vipers.” Admiral Adama ordered. The Colonel got on the radio and ordered the vipers to launch while Lt. Felix Gaeta (NPC) got on the wireless and ordered the fleet to jump to emergency coordinates. One by one the vipers were shot out into open space and into the fight and one by one the civilian ships spun up their drives.

“It looks like a recon crew. If we don’t take them out soon they’ll jump outa here and we’ll have a cylon base ship on top of us in minutes.” Colonel Saul Tigh stated.

The Admiral picked up the com. “Apollo do you read. This is Galactica, Actual.”

“Loud and clear.” Captain Adama responded.

Admiral Adama ordered - “Get rid of the bogey ASAP. We don't have a lot of time and we're not sure what it’s capable of. Have the rest of your team concentrate on the Raiders.”

“Roger, Actual. Apollo out”

As the viper pilots ducked and weaved the cylon Raiders, Apollo closed in on the bogey ship. It was larger than a Raider by 3 times. Apollo opened fire and nicked the wing. The ship spun out of control and started on a crash course directly at Galactica.

“Uh, Admiral. The bogey ship is on a collision course heading directly for Galactica.If I fire I’ll hit Galactica” Apollo radio’d in.

The Admiral looked to his XO. The Colonel starred back. “Brace for impact, Saul”

As the bogey ship crashed into Galactica, alert sirens fired off and red light flashed throughout the CIC.

“Damage report!” Colonel Tigh barked towards D.

“Breach in the lower deck. Sealing off now.” Lt. Dualla (NPC) responded. She ordered the seal of the breach and the red lights stopped, instantly.

“Get a team of marines down there ASAP.” The Admiral ordered. Just then - Starbuck checked in.

“All Raiders accounted for. We’re comin home.” She reported. As the vipers closed in, 3 Cylon base stars appeared on the DRADIS rader. "Open fire." Admiral Adama ordered. Galactica and the nearest Base Star started exchanging fire for a few seconds until all of the vipers landed and Battlestar Galactica jumped to the emergency coordinates. The Ship flashed and was across the galaxy in an instant. The entire fleet was there. And they were safe. Meanwhile, down in the lower deck, multiple figures emerged from the bogey ship. One ran into hiding and the others snuck their way into Galactica’s civilian population. When the Marine team got there the hatch door was open, but no one was inside. The marines reported to the CIC via wireless. The Admiral was not happy. Just then he received a private and emergency message from one of the civilian ships;

Cylons have created models that are identical to humans. We have just captured and killed one. They bleed, breathe and feel like us. Heads up, Galactica

The Admiral looked up at the Colonel and the the rest of the CIC crew. “We’ve been infiltrated. Cylons look like humans. Keep your eyes open and ear tuned. We’re staying in a condition 2 alert until the infiltrators have been found and terminated. Back to work. Colonel - You have the CIC.” The Colonel Saluted as the Admiral marched out of the CIC and towards his quarters.

Galactica would be in for a rough few days.

Don't stress over Day One votes, Doc.  Nobody knows anything except their own roles, so you vote isn't supposed to be based on anything.  Most of the first day votes are revenge votes from previous mafias or just a fun routine.

Ok, now, I'm not defending Jimmy in anyway, Doc, but we don't necessarily need a lynch on Day 1.  The voting on Day 1 is more of a formality.  We have very rarely lynched on Day 1 and when we did, it cost Town a player.  The odds are slim and none that we'll correctly lynch a scum on Day 1.  Keep your vote for Jimmy, thats fine, I'm just letting you know what's up.
